Prayer Partner

Do you remember the final battle scene of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe? Take four minutes to refresh your memory.

Every time I watch this scene I am filled with encouragement. They are in the midst of a lopsided battle, and just when it looked like they would be defeated, reinforcements come. Their army was larger than they realized and when Aslan shows up, they realize that they cannot be defeated. This is what comes to mind when I think about assembling our prayer partners.

So here is where we are: We have a team of people who have already committed to planting this church with us. Individuals who are giving their lives to this. I am incredibly grateful to their listening to the voice of God and responding. This is going to be hard work. The enemy is going to attack us. He does not want to see people who have given their life to the world turn to Jesus and experience true freedom.

So, I want to assemble an ARMY! An army that will help us fight against the powers of darkness. People who are not afraid to go toe-to-toe with the enemy. We need people who will commit to regular prayer for my family, our core team, and the church. I know many of you would not consider yourself prayer experts and that is fine. We have set up a prayer email account that we will be sending out ways to pray generally and specifically for us and the plant.

I know that so many of you are already praying for us, and we are extremely grateful. What we are trying to do here is to take all of the people who are praying for us and bring you to one place where your prayers are all aiming together to make a bigger impact on the darkness. A singular place where people can be updated regularly on how and what to pray.

So here is what you can do:
1. Sign up for our prayer email: HERE
2. Share this post with people of prayer
3. Cry out to Jesus on our behalf

As we take this leap of faith, having you guys holding us up will be a source of encouragement and you will help us to keep moving forward even when we are tired or discouraged.
